Got that scholarship, in memory of Ephraim Kaufmann (Hebrew). It was given me by the Dean of Humanities, Prof. Dan Laor. The ceremony was simple and not too tasteless, and included a short lecture by Prof. Nurit Guvrin (Hebrew Lit.) on Literature and Grief. Prof. Guvrin seemed quite emotional throughout the ceremony; her talk was interesting. Later today, I attended Laor's class on the poetry of Yonatan Ratosh.
I now have a fancy certificate declaring me a Very Good Student. I'm going to see my parents tonight, to pick up mail and such; Mom would be so proud! :)
