It might help if you told people the cat's sex (otherwise discernable only in comments to your last post).

Along those Tiglath-Pilesar lines, and incorporating your cat's general expression of "Drop dead. I am the Cat", the husband suggests "Hatshepsut"...

... It would be hard for me to accept the name 'Pushkin', as it is the name of my sister's gorgeous feline. I would, therefor, be forced to come up with a unique nickname only I will call her by - for example La Principessa.
Everyone is offering sophisticated names. He/she just looks like a חתחתול to me. You know, from the smurfs. He had the same look in his eyes. And besides, I've always wanted to call a cat cat and a dog, dog, just never had the courage (I'm a name whore).
