Maybe it's me, but I fail to see what's wrong with people speaking in bad Hebrew. I mean, I speak good Hebrew - not perfect, but nice. My friend speaks horrible Hebrew. If he asked me how to pronounce a word, I'd help him, but he won't. Why should I speak like he does, or he speak like I do? Can't one choose the level of language he wishes to talk in? Often I find myself using different language 'levels' in different occations - it's a tool and a helpful one. I don't think standardization of any kind - neither the arrogant 'vedayek' kind nor Mishory's equally arrogant proposal give me any kind of promise. The strength of a language lies in its variety, and any kind of standardization kills it.
Let people talk however they want to. If they care about it, they'll talk correct. If they don't, they won't. What's so bad with that?
