Sarid, Poet

I've known that MK Yossie Sarid is a poet for several years now, and have even read a couple of his poems before, but I don't remember being particularly struck by his talent.

The latest issue of Keshet Haxadasha (קשת החדשה; Issue #9, Autumn 2004) includes a poem by Sarid, called "מרש". It is new, and refers to the American war in Iraq. I found it very good. I shall look for more of his poetry.
