Slow in turning the page
I only recognized the phrase "be on the same page" as such about four months ago. Just how slow am I? How long has it been around, do you think?

(e.g. "So it's $50/hour, right? Okay, just making sure we're on the same page here.")

Current Music: Nick Drake - Fruit tree

I haven't heard (of) it. But I don't do much media.

That'll be $60, please.

I hadn't run across this one before, and like it well enough, especially because it comes from the literary realm. So many EN expressions come from sports (not that there's anything _wrong_ with that...).

It's also an expression which has lightly, gracefully survived the Millenial transition: from print-text to electronic, from the tangible to the virtual.

Now I'm wondering: which expression have I myself used for this in the past? If/when I recall it, I'll be back to update here...
