Was it Bulgakov that said: "Texts do not burn"?
Did he ever try it? Some texts will even burn quicker than others and will give a wonderful glow and warmth :P(I recommend Ram Oren's latest book,it kept my feet warm and toasty for hours).

Bulgakov did try it, actually - and then rewrote some of the burnt text.
But more to the point - have you read the article?
Re:have you read the article?
Of course I did and I too would have been jumping up and down if it wasn't for the lack of space in this small room.

I'm not even a classicist and I'm pretty psyched :)
on second thoughts... lets not go to camelot, it is a silly place.
i'm so excited, i actually feel a little dirty.
As I noted, one of my first reactions (guilty), after the initial shock and rush of pleasure, was to dash off a note to my roommate and tell him "still think Classics is a moribund field?" To his credit, he's been very patient with my "I told you so," and even thinks there might be something to all this, after all.
