(Hebrew): Israeli court overruled the (ultra-orthodox) mayor of Jerusalem's decision to ban the gay Pride Parade in Jerusalem. Not only was the decision struck down, but the mayor himself, who has acted against the advice of the city's legal team, is now made to personally
take part in financing the parade, in the sum of 30,000 NIS!
Among all the battles liberty loses in Israel every day, here's one victory, one small blow against bigotry and ignorance, and the credit goes once again to the justice system.
