Oh, thanks for the link.
I forwarded it to all my social antropolgy friends. I remember when they started their first year of sos. anth. Geertz was one of the people (or texts) they discussed the most, so at least here he's still one of the main pillars of sos.anth. I have only read a few articles of him (had to keep up with them you know), on symbolism mainly. Hmm, perhaps this is a good opportunity to reread them?

antropology - which I dropped after the first year. studied history instead.
