Farewell to Zeresh and Cecily

arnulf and I are moving out in two weeks, and regrettably, neither of us can accommodate our cats in our new living arrangements. This means we absolutely must give the cats away immediately. If we can't find a new home for them, I'll have to give them back to the Cat Welfare Society or some other shelter. It saddens me, but I have no choice.

I know, I'm posting this late. There's a bunch of reasons why, all of them irrelevant now.

Please, if any of you is willing to take the two cats, or knows someone who might, let me know (details below). I'd also like to hear from you if you have ideas for better alternatives than the chronically-impoverished Cat Welfare Society.

Details about the cats:

Zeresh is about 1.5 years old, she's got lovely rich gray fur, and is exceptionally quiet and friendly. She never scratches and would only bite (not powerfully) to express that you're physically irritating her. She is not aggressive or mean, and responds very well to humans, including strangers. She's the sweetest cat ever.

Cecily is about one year old, white with touches of ginger and black; she's not as friendly as Zeresh, and is a bit more shy, but she too is not aggressive and doesn't bite or scratch.

Both are house cats (they don't spend time outside), have regular eating habits (they're not picky), and are very much attached to each other (they sleep curled up together).

We move out on July 31st. If I don't find a new home for the cats by July 29th, I'll give them to the Society.

I'd have posted pictures, but the Flat server seems to be down, taking the picture gallery with it. Perhaps arnulf would be able to fix it soon.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.
