We've been trying to find a good Hebrew
name for snowclones (as well as good Hebrew snowclones) for a while now. Would be glad to get your ideas.

What's wrong with...
... "paraphrase"? I mean, "Have Spacesuit Will Travel" is a "snowclone" of "Have Gun Will Travel"? Why not a paraphrase of that?

"Paraphrase" is usually used to indicate rephrasing, i.e. putting the same substance in a different form. Snowcloning is quite the opposite -- it is the re-use of a well-known form with new content, formally analogous to the well-known content, but different from it.
