Nothing to celebrate

My home town has decided tonight to cancel all celebrations of our Independence Day. Very symbolic.
The reason is, of course, the very real fear of terrorist attacks on the celebrating masses (Independence Day in Israel is universally celebrated by swarming out into the streets, eating, watching big live gigs, fireworks, etc.).

Lots of death today, on both sides. No hope in sight.
