Tiberius Gracchus Lives!

It is election time in Israel, and the streets are full of gigantic election posters and bland propaganda. While sitting at a red light, gaal (who's back! whee!) and I saw a kid distributing flyers for Tzomet, a half-defunct right-wing party, once led by the embarrassing "Raful" (former Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Rephael Eitan). Their slogan caught my eye, though: "Land for discharged soldiers -- it's a national priority!"

"Tiberius Gracchus Lives!" I cried dramatically. Ach, the things Prof. Rubin's course and Plutarch's Lives do to me...
