TAU Life: newsflash
Administrative notice: the next issue of TAU Life has been delayed due to all kinds of things. Have patience.

Remember that pesky mandatory English class where they taught Gender stuff (second item)?

Well, I haven't found the gumption to go and check what sort of grade would be given me, or whether I would be exempted, but the grade just came in (bless the Internet era!). It's 100 (i.e. perfect score). That's even better than exemption, as it counts toward my grade point average. Whee!

In other news, I've just returned from the Intertextuality & The Western Canon exam (Prof. Ben-Porat's fabulous course), and am generally pleased with how I've done. More on this later, I hope.

Let me explain: as I wrote in that entry I linked to, I was excused from class after three lessons, and told I won't have to show up to class any more. I didn't even take the final test. So I really don't have much to do with this grade -- I guess the teacher just figured my English is good enough to warrant that score, based on my participation in those three lessons and a single one-page response I wrote about one of the gender articles.

Oh well, can't complain. :)

Good! Now work on toning down the blush response, maybe?

You know, your English is better than that of most of the native speakers (or, at least, native writers) that I encounter. (I guess I can't really comment on your speaking. ;)
