I must know! - Impressions and Expressions of Ijon
I must know!|
The following will be put in context tomorrow. But first, I must know:
Do you know what impressionist painting is?
Would you recognize an impressionist painting if it bit you in the rump?
only if it made little impressionist yelps.
How interested are you in visual art?
Do you think everybody loves the impressionists?
Am I being neurotic about this?

Poll response recorded, but I had to say for the record that I am not a fan of the style.
Gimme a good Surrealist any day of the week.

I should get to know more surrealism. What do you recommend?
Have yet to see an impressionist painting I actually like.
I think that I liked the poll better than any Impressionist painting I have ever saw.

I happen to like impressionist paintings.
I think the use of beautiful colours is the best side of impressionist paintings.

Speaking of the use of beautiful colors, do you know the Pre-Raphaelites?

אימפרסיוניזם זה סבבה
אני לא מכיר הרבה, אבל בהחלט מוקיר
My myopia is like impressionism in 3-D. I used to be a terrible snob about it and go around asserting that none of my 20-20 friends really understood Monet. Anyway, give me a good expressionist painting any day; it's got the colorful, brushstrokey technique without the bucolic subject matter.
I like Impressionism as well.
I especially like Pissarro, but enjoy a good Dali, too.
For a real good time, Brueghal's The Wedding is a horndog's delight.
