I was thinking of E.E. Cummings's "since feeling is first", which I had sent a friend for her birthday.

This has nothing to do with your post, sorry.

I was just discussing LiveJournal with my sole coworker teammate (and DM, after hours), and he recognized your name. Says you used to know each other, but haven't met in years. I love this sort of coincidences (assuming it's really you he's remembering and not someone with a similar name).

His name's Ariel Azia. He says hi.

The name's vaguely familiar, yes. Does he remember the context?

But many roleplayers recognize my name, due to my involvement with the Israeli Role-Playing Society, of which I am a founding member.

The guy is vehemently uninvolved with anything to do with the society (He had no idea it even exists until a couple of months ago, when I showed him the web site).

I just asked. He mumbled something about "Iasa" and playing the Great Khan Game. Is this helpful?

Oh yeah! IASA... Man, that was a long time ago... Yes, the Great Khan Game, with Fafnolt the Big and whatnot. :)

Well, send him my regards, then. :)
