The Power of Mozart

Woke up this morning, anticipating a glorious day. Ten minutes later, a phone call from work: a minor embarrassment involving an important client seems to be upon us. That sort of spoiled things a bit, as I had to spend a few hours at a different client's site today before I could come to work to handle the important client's business, and this delay in handling the problem made me uneasy.

I entered my car feeling a bit deflated (nothing serious, of course -- it's only work -- but my perfect morning was no longer perfect), and turned on the radio, tuned to the classical music channel. Serendipitously, I tuned in just in time to hear the unmistakable opening of Mozart's Coronation Mass. Ah, rapture! Thanks to a few otherwise-unfriendly traffic lights, I got to hear the entire mass (very well performed, too!), the final notes playing when the client's parking lot came into view. My morning became perfect again.
