So, the introductory lecture of the Introduction to Homer seminar will take place on Thursday, October 23nd, at The Flat, at 19:00. The lecture will include a super-brief introduction to ancient Greece, to Homer, and to the Iliad, including the events preceding the beginning of the Iliad. It will last between three and four hours.
You're all welcome to attend. If you plan to come, please let me know. In case there are too many interested moose, those who plan to take the seminar itself will take precedence. People who just want to hear the lecture are welcome too, anyhow.
